This popular coffee house has been voted the best in the city four years in a row. The café offers three floors complete with dining tables, and sofas and chairs for lounging. Coffee beans are roasted right in the store and the aroma fills the senses. Guests can enjoy a variety of coffee drinks or full meals such as soup and salad or Italian panini sandwiches. The Batel location can be found at Al. Presidente Taunay, 40. Open 11:00 am to 10:00 pm weekdays and 11:00 am to 11:00 pm weekends. Chateau de GazonThis quaint restaurant serves traditional fondue with fresh Brazilian ingredients. An intimate atmosphere with a lot of character and conversation, this is a great spot for a dinner with friends or a celebration with a significant other. Begin the meal with cheese fondue and potatoes, carrots and bread for dipping. Thirteen different sauces or toppings are served with a selection of meats including filet and chicken. Finish the delicious meal off with chocolate fondue complete with seven different fruits including papaya, pineapple and melon. The restaurant also offers an excellent wine list. Be prepared for a long wait on the weekends. Once inside guests will definitely see the food and experience were worth it. Located at Rua Pasteur 134. Open for dinner.
